About Us
Being life-long lovers of camping, we have spent more than 30 years at Lakeshore RV Resort. Our retirement dream was to step away from our professional careers to own and operate a campground. So in 2015, that dream became a reality when we became the proud owners of Lakeshore RV Resort & Campground. What an adventure it is!
Our passion is to provide our guests with a wholesome campground environment that is family friendly. Our roots are in Northeast Iowa where we raised our family and camped at Lakeshore. We have passed a camping legacy on to our children and grandchildren. They all enjoy coming to campground and helping out when their busy schedules permit.
We happily provide our beautiful campground for your enjoyment and to help foster strong family relationships while establishing tremendous memories with your loved ones, just as we have with ours!

Lakeshore, we’re all about making sure you enjoy yourself, whether that’s self-entertainment or enjoying one or more of our provided amenities.
Our campground amenities are all inclusive, meaning no additional fees, with the exception of laundry facilities, firewood, & pedal cart rental. Our amenities include:

All campsites are provided with water, electric, and sewer. Sewer connections must be air tight, sealed with adapter device designed for this purpose.

Yes, well behaved and campground social dogs and indoor cats are welcome. No aggressive breeds permitted. Must be on a leash or short tether at all times. Not permitted to roam freely anywhere on the premises. Pet fencing not permitted unless specific permission from management. Must pick up waste immediately and disposed of properly.

Visitors are permitted between the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. There is a small daily visitor fee charged, per adult, regardless of length of stay. There are restrictions to the number of visitors permitted and is dependent on paid guest occupancy.

All deposits and camp fees paid are not refundable. However, in the event of an unforeseen personal or family emergency, a campground credit for the amount paid is applied toward a future stay.

We are an RV park for recreational vehicles: travel trailers, 5th wheels, motor homes (class A,B,C), and truck campers. Tents are not permitted in general, but may on occasion. We do allow pop-up/fold down campers.

We follow the Iowa Department of Natural Resources recommendations for transport of firewood. We do sell firewood and deliver it to your campsite.
